Collaborations

productive, creative, inter-university learning community

The work compiled throughout the decade 1998 – 2008 was only possible through creative, productive, ongoing collaboration among a number of distinguished colleagues who strive together for obtaining best results stimulated by the advance of knowledge. In this way, an “inter-university learning community” is established.

Furthermore, the faculties are committed to an interdisciplinary approach: they carry our research projects that cut across several disciplines, connecting and integrating fields of study, technologies and perspectives in the pursuit of a common task. Researchers from two or more disciplines pool their approaches and modify them so that they are better suited to the problem at hand.

The recursive process of collaboration values the notion that teams working collaboratively can obtain greater access, recognition and reward when facing competition for finite resources. Working all together, specialized doctors, researchers and students unite their intellectual endeavours, by sharing knowledge, learning and building consensus to improve performance in current and future projects.

Below are cited the most important collaborations with the faculty of the Orthopaedic Surgery Department of the University of Thessalia:
