Starting from the first year, a series of congresses and seminars have been organized to promote continuing education and disseminate up-to-date knowledge. A boad range of topics has been covered and special hands-on workshops have been carried out under the surveillance of more than 210 acknowledged academics and specialized surgeons from all the continents who lectured and chaired the sessions. With every one of our guest speakers a warm, friendly and creative relationship has been established through which an open network of educational collaborations and exchange programmes has been initiated. Interactive discussions, exhibitions of medical orthopaedic products, and live-surgery sessions were additional means of communication.
